perspective
I have the TV on because I'm bored. There's this woman on right now talking about her book. She wrote a book about how she got pregnant after she met some guy at a bar. I feel sorry for her. I absolutely do. I think maybe about a week ago I would have been more sympathetic. Right now I just think by doing so is more pathetic.

windows of opportunity
I was looking through the different shows I can watch tonight and a new show intrigued me. New Amsterdam was a show I was fairly interested in at the beginning of the summer. It never appeared because the big wigs at Fox decided to shelf it. From what I gathered they only produced seven episodes and probably won't go for any more. So why did I get to see it tonight? The writer's strike. They simply ran out of things to show. I guess even Fox can't get enough dumb people to go on their reality shows. But you know what, I'm glad I got to watch it. I liked it. There were some humor in there that I find quirky. How does this guy know so much? Well he's been living for 300 years for one... and went to a few educational institutions. I would too if I lived for that long. Anyway, I hope they air the rest of it. Possibly make more since 24 is getting push to lord knows when. Not that I've watched that for a while now.
Oh the other thing I liked was they used Your Heart is an Empty Room as the end credits for the pilot. How fitting. That got me to listen to my sappy folk songs. Had some Death Cab, now I'm back on David Gray. I used to say I have a soundtrack to my life. I think I lost track of that for a while. I don't know what it can be now. I'm not in any particular mood for any prolonged period of time. I have a tendency to go back to things that takes me back. It's a mental connection thing. I'm looking through my collection again. It's the experience factor. What music do to me so that it draws out emotions and make me recall events and link them all together. Is that how memory works? I know that's how a romantic comedy works.
I told my friend to remind me of what I said if I ever express an interest in teaching English. Reading other people's papers are frustrating. Most of the papers I read were fine, but some of them are real gems. I can't understand how muddle people's thoughts can be. I honestly think some of my free writes are more organized then what I read. I don't know what's going on with people. Anyway, school is almost done for the year and I really need a break. I need to stop and really think about what I want to do. There's still so much to do. I feel like I'm sort of drowning a bit. I know I'm not, because I know what it's like when it is worse. Everything seem so much easier after I have hit bottom. I have that "could be worse" attitude.
I don't really want to leave the job I have right now. But I'm also not too keen on some of the many changes also. I think I need to make some hard choices fairly soon. The last few weeks have been pretty demoralizing at work. I'm tired of fighting about my schedule. I'm tired of people taking my work for granted. I'm doing things at work that's not even part of my job and they are some how expected of me. Even worse, they don't give me the time and resource to do it. I do wonder about why I'm still there and not look for something better. I think I'm too comfortable.

come on people... i'm just doing my job
All you crazy people with anger issues, ignorance issues, biting more then you can chew issues, metro-fi issues, attention span issues, etc, etc, etc... Go bother somebody else. Or better yet, go jump of a bridge will ya? Yeah I'm talking about you, bleached blond lady with all of the above. No you don't get to look at me like I'm stupid, because you are the dumbest bitch I have ever met. If you can stop and listen to me talk for more then 2 seconds then you would know everything spilling out of that gaping hole in your head are wrong. If you know that better service, why don't you just use it? You know why you're asking me about it? because it doesn't fricking exist. Good job lady. Get the fuck out of my face.

bush
No I don't have a political rant here, but rather a new peeve. For all you asian aunties who like to go to the gym in the afternoon, shower, then walk around naked. Please don't. I don't care if you take a shower and stay naked while you dry off. But please don't trot all over the place. No you are not allow to walk up right next to me to get on the scale buck naked while I'm hovered over my bag trying to pack. I'm not too keen on looking up and have a bush right in my face. I don't swing that way.

Phone it in....
It was down again as soon as I made my last post. I managed to register for one class on the phone. The one with one seat left. It didn't let me get teh second class... so I passed out. I woke up at 8:30. The connection came up about 3 hours prior. I tried again, it saids I have a problem with my matriculation record. Dammit. I guess I have to go on campus.
On a much much happier note. Most of my grades are up. C+ for that one class I would settle for a D. WoooHooo! Only need my Finance grade. I suspect it'll be at least a B. Plus my lab class needs to post my pass, then I'm good. One sememster down! One more starting next week....
Guess I should get up now and get my "matriculation" issue fixed.

PS2
If some idiot wants to have your PS2 or maybe you beat him or whatever... don't fight it. You can always get a PS3. How stupid is getting shot to death over a PS2? That's why I don't play console games anymore. I better be careful when I play Guitar Hero with other people.

Rock On
Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for Christian music. But I do have a beef with that guy strumming his guitar and keep repeating his lyrics for the 3 whole minutes I was walking to my next class. First of all, is it appropriate for him to be playing in a state school? Just the whole separation of church and state thing. But then again I see a lot of youth ministry trying to recruit on campus... I'll let that one go. His voice was kind of weak. Come on now.... learn how to hold a note. Maybe learn to play a few more chords? That could help your musical variability. mmmm what else... Oh yeah, please write some original lyrics. When I hear "light", "glory", "beauty", or something like that all in one sentence, you've lost me.
Ok, next gripe. Scrawny, fobby, asain guy. Please don't tuck your long sleeve tee-shirt into your ankle-length-wrinkly-puke-green corduroy. You would get stoned in Asian countries. What makes you think you can wear that here? I don't care if you're an aspiring engineer. Bill Gates dress better then you, and that is prior to hiring a stylist.
One more. Asian guy trying to look like one of the characters in Initial D, your hair looks perfect, but please look into getting some Noxema. You look like Rudolph, and it's only April.

Where bums like to shop....
We had at least 4 bums come in today.... "shopping". They had some pretty serious questions about products and stuff. But seriously.... why that many bums like to come in? I don't get it.
I had 3 kids steal batteries right under my nose today. They looked fishy. I talked to them and stuff. Long story short... we found battery packaging in the toilet. *sigh* Pisses me off.
I still haven't found a use for my shuffle. I have the nano for jogging, and I have the 60 vid for everything else. I guess I can load stuff up for when I go shopping? *shrug*

sarcasm flies over people head sometimes...
Somebody random commented on my previous post. Forgive me that I rejected your comment. Yes I realize I would know it if I truely have OCD. *nod*

Am I too early or what?
No hangover. Good sign. Walked into the classroom about 5 min early (what?! when was the last time that happened?), only 2 other people in the room. Great. I guess that's what happens the class after the exam. Whatever.
I had too much to drink last night I think. It's once again dry season. If I really want to lose those extra pounds then I'll have to skip on the drinks. Doesn't make me feel particularly good anyway. Plus if I want to drink, then I'd rather drink good beer. I have those at home for a much lower price. Again, the money thing.
I don't know what it was this morning, I wanted to listen to the radio. It makes me giggle.
1) Last night around 8 pm, a woman was scratching some scratchers at the Scotts Valley Safeway when she found one that shows she won $5000. Elated, she threw her hands up in the air (scratcher in hand) and shouted "I WON!". At exact same time, some white guy on a red cruiser style bike passed by and snatched the ticket out of her hand. I'd put my money on he's also wearing a wife-beater.
2) They were talking about people speeding and road rage. Somebody had written in some days ago about how a neighbor of his tried to back out of his driveway to make the guy who was speeding down the street swerve. Then both anchors (I can see them shake their heads) went oh nooo noooo noooo.... don't be stupid! That made me laugh. How would you like to be that dumb ass they call out on radio during the time of day when the most amount of people are listening?
Yes... I love the radio.
Ok I guess I failed in posting about all the stuff I bought yesterday. But now that I have them nicely sorted and tucked away I'm too lazy to pull them out to scan/take pictures. Not all of it are on their site. Here's what I can find online.

I got a gold Big Vintage Circle overlay and the Pirates and Journaling Rub-ons. there was a cherry blossom print paper too. Then I pulled a bunch of other papers and vellums. Their stuff are so frigging cool... must get more.... Man I can't wait to use them! Then I can really show what I got.... haha. I was actually constructive yesterday before I headed out. I got the big ArtBin the other day.

I used it to separate out my embellishments. Now I can find stuff! wow! what a concept! Hopefully this is going to help me on being more creative.
I think I have a revised shopping list. I think I'll actually start posting that on my side bar.
1) Sony Alpha A100k
2) Zoom lens
3) Fish eye lens
4) Alpha kit
5) Tripod
6) Filters
7) Gigantic order of rubber stamps from Purple Onion
8) The Cricut
9) Cartridges for The Cricut and maybe accessories.
10) 24" Monitor
11) Wii + games and accessories
12) 360 + games and accessories
13) Speakers
others:
- other scrapbook supplies
- flickr pro account
- have to join the warehouse before they announce the summer tour (yes... addicted to dmb)
The IRS tells me I should get my refund by April 4th. Good. Right on time ^_^. I really can't wait. So my credit card statement should close on Monday. It'll be paid off by Wednesday. My order will be placed that afternoon. I got some advise yesterday on lenses. I think I might get some Minolta and Tamron lenses from eBay. It'll be a lot cheaper. Which brings me to a realization of why my obnoxious coworker objected to me buying the Alpha. He was looking at the OFFICIAL lenses from Sony. Of course they'll be a helluva lot more expensive. Rich little brat. The only reason why he works is because his dad is making learn the value of work. Which he doesn't much care for. Anyway that's another story.
One of the major reasons why I choose not to upgrade my system this year is because I'm not using the equipments I bought last year to its full potential anyway. My box is awesome with the upgraded video and sound card. Unfortunately my monitor doesn't have DVI, is 17", and my speakers are... ok. I really don't think it's fair for me to upgrade the internal hardware before I do the external. Plus I made money off the package. So there. Having an extra $240 to spend is pretty nice.
I don't really need more game systems. Seriously. I don't even play the ones I have. I have the wireless controller for Guitar Hero. And I've only used it once. Seriously. I have a PSP I rarely touch. My Game Cube is buried somewhere in the storage unit. I guess I just don't really feel like it. It'll be nice to have a couple more systems just to have them. But why bother if I'm not going to touch it? I'm putting them on my list just for giggles.
I need to close up a few credit cards in the next couple of weeks. Just because I have to. I want to use up my Sony points before I do it. Sony card, Victoria's Secret, Discover, Starbucks.... I think that's about it. Yes I'm closing my Starbucks card, just because the return rate isn't as good as my Reward Zone card. I'm keeping the Reward Zone card and my American Express card. Keeping the Amex just because Costco only accepts it. I've had the RZMC card since the program started... and I have about $190 banked up in certificates. What am I going to get with it you ask? Probably the 24" monitor.
mmmm.... I wrote a lot. I'm still not entirely awake.

Humph....
I just walked passed 3 guys on skateboards. Head to toe spandex. Green, silver, magenta. Completed with eye bands like the ninja turtles. They skated pass me. the guy in green was crouching on his board and looked at me for any sort of reaction. One of those things that makes you go.... mmm... okaaaaay......
There's only so much....
I can't find anything else interesting on the internet for me to read. No really... there's only so much I want to see. I seriously have just spent an hour an a half looking at scrap book stuff, camera stuff, myspace, and other shopping stuff. Seriously. I'm about to fall asleep here. I have another hour and 15 min before my next class. I don't know if I can stay awake for it. I seriously don't know how I can get sooooooo bored. I didn't go to sleep that late last night. I shouldn't be this tired. The only conclusion is I'm bored out of my mind. I even brought two text books with me today to look at. Come on now.... I can't bring myself to go get it from my car. Especially because it's kind of rainy outside. If it wasn't that rainy then I probably would have gone out to take pictures.
