nice and toasty

It's starting to feel like that hot-to-the-point-where-I-want-to-strip-and-run-through-the-sprinklers summer. I had class this morning, had lunch, and find the next class canceled because my professor has a stomach ailment. So I did what any rational human being would do, I went to the gym instead. Mmm... ok maybe not all that rational, but at least it's healthy.

I was finally feeling the saddle burn from last night. I'm actually surprised at how well I held up. I remember when I first started going to spin class I had the worse time. I could hardly sit after each session. I was doing surprisingly well last night and only had a hit of soreness today. Not a bad deal I think. Something tells me it's because I'm so much lighter then when I was on the bike last. Lighter on my feet and on my butt I suppose. I don't think I pushed myself hard enough. I didn't know how long I would last on it. My whole goal last night was to last though the whole session. I can't count the number of times I wanted to quit. I just kept at it because I knew I would be happy if I finish up at the end. It was great!

As I said, it was hot. My piggies reaction to weather is the best indication of how hot it is. So imagine my amusement when I walked in and found this.

Workout sucks, but I feel so much better after it. I think I'm starting to feel the burn. I really want to lose my gut. It's pretty unsightly. I felt pretty good for a while in this size, and I'm getting tired of it. I think it really is time to move down a couple more sizes. I do this once in a while. Getting all hyped up in doing something. I hope this one sticks.

I guess that's all I have for now. I should study for my midterm.
